We were most fortunate to be in a Duffy boat to capture this large, dramatic cloud anvil-like formation that was towering above a calm Tampa Bay. It was beautifully illuminated by the warm light of a Florida sunset. The sky transitions from a deep blue to a soft orange near the horizon, creating a tranquil and picturesque scene.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her. Nature is the real artist. I am just one of the tools used to capture its best moments for others to see. Within the chaos of this beautiful world that we live in, I will continue searching for the best moments and the best way to capture whatever nature offers me.
