An iconic view of the Lone Cypress Tree from the Monterey Coastline was the highlight of a summer road trip many years ago. It was converted from film to a digital format. Silhouetted against the shimmering sea, I was drawn to this gnarled lone cypress tree standing on the rocky coastline. Shot under a moody, overcast sky, the interplay of light and shadow creates a dramatic contrast, highlighting the tranquil yet rugged beauty of the natural landscape and this iconic landmark
