Bishop Creek is a lovely spot in Bishop, California for the plein air artists to set up their easels and paint the natural beauty that surrounds them. Not bad for the photographers either. :-) The fall season is particularly splendid as the aspen leaves turn gold and flutter their brilliant colors as they cascade into the running water and runoffs from the higher mountain elevations.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her. Nature is the real artist. I am just one of the tools used to capture its best moments for others to see. Within the chaos of this beautiful world that we live in, I will continue searching for the best moments and the best way to capture whatever nature offers me.
