While shooting a charity golf event at the Sierra Star Golf course in Mammoth Lakes, California, this darling cub dashed across the fairway. The residents of this town have learned to respect the animals and coexist harmoniously with their being in the wild. However, it is a constant vigil to promote the campaign to,"Please, don't feed our bears!" so that the bears don't learn to eat human foods.
Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her.
