During the fall seasons, inside a grove of mature tall aspens, I find colors of sugar and spice and wonderful things nice. However, romantic as I am...would prefer the tree graffiti or lovers’ initials that appear here be expressed somewhere else rather than carved and left to become bulletin boards of self expression no matter despite the romantic gesture of the moment.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her.
