Artist's Description
Wandering the historical old cobblestone streets of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, my lens was drawn to the shadowy scene of this colorful aging wall and the local female street florist who was preparing flowers to sell. She sat in the shadows on a bucket trimming the petals under the green canopy of leaves from the trailing overhead foliage.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her. Nature is the real artist.
