And yet, no matter what, when her time is right, she pushes her vibrant colors up through it all to forecast the new beginnings of springtime. The iceland poppies in my yard always came up despite the cruelty of the seasons weather...the wonder of it all!
Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me.
