Artist's Description
In the fall, the changing seasonal leaves of nature showcase why life expectancy is so unique. The aspen trees in this grove are examples of how life has different longevity timelines for everything, including the trees. The yellow grove of aspen leaves in the back of the image are about to fail and fall but the foreground of aspen leaves are still vibrant with youthful greens.
Add a little effervescent tonic to the mix, and VOILA...a wonderful beverage reward after a worthy hike in this gem locale in the Eastern Sierra. It is located in Lundy Canyon, above Lundy Lake. just beyond the town of Mammoth Lakes.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden.
