Description
Tamarack's vintage old bridge was replaced in the late 1990's for this version. Be it the old or the new bridge, many happy couples have crossed over it to the alpine outdoor chapel where they tied the knot. Mammoth weddings are legendary for the unique alpine locations that offer stunning Sierra scenery, no matter the season. Our friends Lenny and Cheryl crossed over it :-) black and white photo captures a wooden footbridge surrounded by leafy trees and shrubs. The bridge provides a path over a serene part of a body of water from the Twin Lakes area.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
