Artist's Description

Barnwood cabins, crunchy leaves, a crisp fall day, times to remember, times to ponder; cinnamon spices, the smell of firewood, and a good book are all things I felt when composing this image. This old cabin is located off Highway 88 in Alpine County, in Hope Valley on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.

I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden.
