Spring is a welcome relief to the harsh snowfall in the majestic Eastern Sierra in California.The beauty of the snow melt in runoff from heavy winter storms in the Eastern Sierra signals a new season of hope and renewal. This image taken near Crowley Lake on a day hike in the area.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me.
