Artist's Description

Startled by road noise, these two, two year old deer, with forked horns, were interrupted from a late afternoon flower snack during the spring season in Mammoth Lakes, California. As traffic increases in this destination resort community, these lovely creatures could obviously hear the cars and were startled while meandering through the golf course. They are beautiful creatures to witness but they do not make good hood ornaments as they cross the highways, so please drive carefully, especially at dusk.
