Sitting on the aft deck watching a brilliant sunset is tough sea duty but, having your camera nearby to bring back its memory, priceless. If memory accurate, this was taken at the marina called Blue Water yachting center in Hampton, Virginia, where we docked for the night.
Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her.
