Description
The 'Antigonish' poem, also known as 'The Little Man Who Wasn't There', is a verse by Hughes Mearns about the feeling of eerie presence like that of a ghost when we are alone. The poem's name, Antigonish, is taken from a city in Canada where the author heard a story that inspired the poem. I was reminded of this poem when i saw this narrow, wooden staircase ascending between a brick wall and a wooden paneled side, creating a rustic and slightly worn appearance. The steps appear used and aged, adding a sense of history and character to the space.
