Three big boats sailing in a regatta on the San Francisco Bay during a Big Boat Regatta, sponsored by Rolex, were a magnet to my camera's lens as they sailed into the next leg of their race past the city front of buildings. Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her.
