Crew members should be in great shape and love the outdoors in all types of weather to compete in this fast action sport. Captured in this shot are crew members wearing red foul weather gear as they scrambled across the deck of Gone too Farr. They were completing a weather tack maneuver as they headed for the Golden Gate Bridge in the San Francisco Bay, during a big boat series regatta.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden.
