Lost Palmas Tribute Band Leader Fraser Brinsmead is captured on stage amidst this colorful unfiltered iridescent strob lighting and fog. Definitely a challenge to photograph candidly in natural light but very fun amidst the nostalgia of old 70's and 80's toe taping music.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her. Following a three decade career in public education, as a teacher and then principal for the Los Angeles Unified School District, I began a new career quite serendipitously as a professional landscape, wildlife and jazz photographer of California's majestic Eastern Sierra mountains.
