Artist's Description
Coal was our black Labrador Retriever that romped in Mammoth Lakes for over 18 years. As an escape artist, and lover of children, he had many mischievous and romantic stories to tell. Most of all, he loved to surf down mounds of snow like our kids rode the foam and waves at the beach.
About Bonnie Colgan

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her. Nature is the real artist. I am just one of the tools used to capture its best moments for others to see. Within the chaos of this beautiful world that we live in, I will continue searching for the best moments and the best way to capture whatever nature offers me.
