Photographing the colorful spinnakers of the fleet J105's sailing down wind on the San Francisco Bay during an annual big boat regatta is a site to behold. Break out the sunscreen.

Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her. Nature is the real artist.
