Artist's Description
It is often said mountain dwellers endure heavy snowfall in winter just to enjoy the spring and summertimes. It is especially true as you drive north from Mammoth Lakes in sunshine to see the wild iris and cows grazing along Highway 395 in Bridgeport, California.
About Bonnie Colgan
Since childhood, Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish," has been a huge influence on me. I continue to extend and interpret its meaning through my photography as I capture images that hopefully inspire, amuse and gladden. At the same time, perhaps my images will also help document the beauty of Mother Nature and our responsibility to care for her.
